Aristocrats
A strategy that wins by repeatedly sacrificing creatures for value — draining opponents’ life, drawing cards, or generating tokens. Named after the card Falkenrath Aristocrat, the archetype revolves around a sacrifice engine.
The Aristocrats Engine
Every aristocrats deck needs three components working together:
1. Sacrifice fodder — cheap creatures or tokens to sacrifice
2. Sacrifice outlet — a way to sacrifice creatures at will (free is best)
3. Payoff — something that triggers when creatures die

Why Aristocrats Is Strong
The strategy is resilient because it converts “bad” events (creatures dying) into advantage. Board wipes that hurt other strategies actively fuel aristocrats. Your opponents’ removal becomes your engine.
