Steps
  1. Cast Afterlife from the Loam by paying at most {5}{B}{B}{B}, returning Skullwinder and at least three other creatures from graveyards to the battlefield under your control.
  2. When Skullwinder enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Afterlife from the Loam from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Activate Thermopod four times by sacrificing four of the creatures returned in step 1, including Skullwinder, adding {R}{R}{R}{R}.
  4. When the creatures die, Pitiless Plunderer triggers four times, creating four Treasure tokens.
  5. Activate the four Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding {1}{B}{B}{B}.
  6. Repeat.

Show steps
  1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Skullwinder, adding {R}.
  2. When Skullwinder dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Skullwinder on top of your library from your graveyard.
  3. Cast Hit the Mother Lode by paying {4}{R}{R}{R}, exiling Skullwinder from the top of your library and casting it without paying its mana cost, and creating seven tapped Treasure artifact tokens.
  4. When Skullwinder and the Treasures enter the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers seven times and Skullwinder triggers once.
  5. Resolve all Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping the Treasures.
  6. Resolve the Skullwinder trigger, returning Hit the Mother Lode from your graveyard to your hand, and causing an opponent to return a card from their graveyard to their hand.
  7. Activate six Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding {4}{R}{R}.
  8. Repeat.
