Steps
  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton, adding {B}.
  2. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying {1}{B}, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  3. Insidious Roots triggers, creating a creature token and putting a +1/+1 counter on each Plant you control.
  4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding {1}.
  5. Repeat.

Show steps
  1. Activate Priest of Forgotten Gods by tapping it, sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton and any other creature.
  2. When Reassembling Skeleton and the other creature die, Priest of Forgotten Gods triggers twice, untapping Priest of Forgotten Gods.
  3. Resolve the Priest of Forgotten Gods ability from step 1, causing any number of players to lose 2 life and sacrifice a creature, and you to add {B}{B} and draw a card.
  4. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying {1}{B}, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
