Steps
  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Geralf's Messenger, adding {C}{C}.
  2. When Geralf's Messenger dies, its undying ability and Necrosynthesis trigger.
  3. Resolve the Geralf's Messenger trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
  4. When Geralf's Messenger enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing an opponent to lose 2 life.
  5. Resolve the Necrosynthesis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Tayam.
  6. Activate Tayam by paying {3}, removing a +1/+1 counter from Tayam, and both counters from Geralf's Messenger.
  7. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Geralf's Messenger, adding {C}{C}.
  8. Repeat steps 2-5 one additional time.
  9. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Geralf's Messenger, adding {C}{C}.
  10. Resolve Tayam's ability from step 6, causing you to mill three cards and returning Geralf's Messenger from your graveyard to the battlefield.
