Steps
- Cast the creature with mana value 1 or less from your hand by paying its mana cost.
- When the creature enters, Cathars' Crusade triggers.
- Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature.
- Resolve the Cathars' Crusade trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
- Evolution Witness triggers, returning the creature with mana value 1 or less from your graveyard to your hand.
- Activate Crystalline Crawler by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding one mana of any color.
- Repeat.
Combo 2 with Sigarda's Summons + Bishop of Wings

- The Spirit token becomes a 4/4 Spirit Angel due to having a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Spirit token, adding {R}.
- Repeat from step 2.
