Steps
  1. Cast Burnt Offering by paying {B} and sacrificing Scholar of the Ages, adding seven mana in any combination of {B} and/or {R}.
  2. Cast Entreat the Dead for X = 1 by paying {2}{B}{B}{B}, returning Scholar of the Ages from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  3. Scholar of the Ages triggers, returning Burnt Offering and Entreat the Dead from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Repeat any number of times.
  5. Once you have infinite mana, you may choose any amount for X in step 2.
