Steps
  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar six times by sacrificing six additional nontoken creatures, adding {4}{U}{U}.
  2. Cast Misthollow Griffin by paying {2}{U}{U}.
  3. Activate Blade of Shared Souls' equip ability by paying {2}, attaching it to Misthollow Griffin.
  4. Blade of Shared Souls triggers, causing Misthollow Griffin to become a copy of Gerrard.
  5. Put Misthollow Griffin in the graveyard due to the legend rule.
