Steps

Cast Deadly Grub by paying {2}{B}.
Deadly Grub enters the battlefield with three time counters and a vigilance counter on it.
Activate Tayam by paying {3} and removing the three time counters from Deadly Grub.
Deadly Grub's vanishing ability triggers, holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Deadly Grub, adding {1}.
Deadly Grub dies, triggering itself and Abzan Ascendancy.
Resolve the Deadly Grub trigger, creating a 6/1 Insect creature token.
Resolve the Abzan Ascendancy trigger, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Insect and Spirit tokens, adding {2}.
Resolve the Deadly Grub trigger from step 4, doing nothing since Deadly Grub is no longer on the battlefield.
