At instant speed, you can transform any basic land into a powerful utility land like Wasteland, Dark Depths, or Bojuka Bog exactly when needed. Green ramp and combo decks value the ability to tutor specific lands while maintaining mana efficiency, since you only lose one mana in the exchange.
