Show steps
  1. Whenever an opponent controls a nonblack creature, if you control a Treasure, activate it by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {B}.
  2. Activate Attrition by paying {B} and sacrificing Lucius, targeting a nonblack creature an opponent controls.
  3. When Lucius dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
  4. Resolve the Lucius trigger, exiling it from your graveyard and targeting the creature that Attrition is targeting.
  5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
  6. Resolve the Attrition trigger, destroying the targeted creature.
  7. When the creature dies, Lucius triggers, returning it from exile to the battlefield under your control.
  8. Repeat as needed.
